ABOUT ESCAPE EXPERIENCE
Escape rooms are 60-minute team-building exercises designed to immerse you in a grand adventure while also challenging your wits, all while having tons of fun with friends! The basic premise is that you and your group will be locked in a themed room for one hour, and must complete an objective (usually by escaping a room) in order to win.
To achieve this, you and your group will face various obstacles in the room such as locks or puzzles which you will need to solve in order to progress. This will not be such an easy feat, however – you will need to engage and work together with your senses and common knowledge in order to discover hints and clues hidden around the room to aid in your escape, all while feeling like an epic hero in a suspenseful yet action-packed feature film!
Escape Experience is a family-owned escape room company with two convenient locations in Tennessee: Downtown Nashville and Chattanooga. Our escape rooms are carefully crafted to provide an unforgettable experience, and are designed and built in-house with a keen attention to detail. We offer a range of thrilling themes, including escaping from being falsely accused in a maximum security prison (Shawshank-style!), discovering the only cure for a deadly disease in a remote cabin in the woods, and solving the mystery of your estranged uncle’s disappearance in his grand mansion’s study. Also, you can rest easy knowing that our friendly and dedicated game hosts are committed to ensuring that your experience is tailored to meet your needs and exceed your expectations from the moment you walk in the door.
Whether you’re looking for a fun night out with family and friends or a unique team-building activity for your company, it’s hard to go wrong with us because we don’t just make escape room games – we make Escape Experiences that last a lifetime!
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
The maximum capacity we normally allow in a single experience is 8. If you wish to bring more (up to a limit of 10), then please call (615)891-7929 ahead of time to ensure we can accommodate or offer alternatives.
While we encourage solo players to play our experiences, doing a room on your own within the time limit is extremely difficult – but it is possible if you have a lot of experience with escape rooms. Attempting to beat the odds is part of what makes Escape Experience fun and exciting! However, do bear in mind that our experiences are designed to have multiple people participating.
There isn’t really a right or wrong answer here – a recommended group size really depends on the experience level of the participants and/or what you are looking to achieve or get out of the experience. Played lots of rooms before? Give your group a challenge by playing as a duo or trio. First timers? You might feel a bit unprepared at first, so having extra sets of eyes, hands, and ears certainly wouldn’t hurt. At the end of the day, just bring however many friends you think you’ll have the most fun with, and enjoy the time together!
(If you really want to maximize your chances of escaping though, we have seen that groups of 4-5 participants are more likely to escape on average!)
BOOKING AN EXPERIENCE
We offer a variety of discounts throughout the year, often based around holidays and special events. To learn about any current offers, follow Escape Experience Nashville on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat!
Our experiences are non-refundable. If you will be unable to attend your booking, please contact us at least 24 hours before your event to reschedule or receive a store voucher.
Each of our public experiences is priced at $32 per person before tax. We also offer private experiences at a premium rate. The base cost of a private experience is $128 plus $16 per person, before tax.
In order for you to guarantee that only your group will be playing a room, you must either book all 8 spots of a Shared experience, or opt for the Private option during checkout. Any spots that you do not cover with the experience will be available to the public and could potentially be reserved by others.
Note: Private bookings are charged differently compared to Shared bookings. While Shared bookings are $32/player before tax, Private bookings are $16/per player on top of a $128 flat rate for the experience.
If you do not book all 8 available spots, the left over spots remain open to the public and the potential exists for other participants that you may not know to join your experience. This situation typically results in a unique experience for everyone where you get to meet, engage, and work together with new and diverse people in ways you might not otherwise have the opportunity to do. We encourage the making of new friends, and observe it happening often. There is no faster way to break the ice with strangers than to get locked up in a situation that requires everyone to work together – and fast!
This could be due to either that experience’s game time not having enough spots available for your group, or the game isn’t set to start with our normal schedule at that time. If you need to book an experience for a different time than what is available, you can give us a call at (615) 891-7929. We will do our best to try and accommodate your scheduling needs.
Visit EscapeExperience.com/Nashville/Book-Now to view our available games and start times.
Making a reservation is strongly encouraged. Booking an experience online is the only way we can guarantee that you will get the time and experience you want. There is always a chance that you will be able to participate in one of our experiences if you walk in without a reservation, but we can only accommodate you if there are available spots in an experience. Online reservations are always given priority, and we almost never have cancellations, but contact us and we will do our best to try and accommodate your needs.

Monday through Saturday (9:00 AM to 11:00 PM), and Sunday (12:00 PM to 10:00 PM). You can also see specific start times for each experience by clicking the “Book Now” button on the website and choosing a time that works best for you. Additionally, it is possible to open our experience at a time not normally available, but you will need to contact us directly to coordinate this.
We are located in Downtown Nashville across TPAC, at the corner of 5th and Union St. Our address is 501 Union St, Nashville, TN 37219. Open in Google Maps.
Paid street parking is available, however there is only a limited supply of street parking available out front. We recommend the Nashville Public Library Garage which is located a block away on Church Street. Otherwise, you may want to plan ahead of time to consider other alternatives.
CHILDREN AND INFANTS
If you are booking all 8 spots in a public experience or using the “private event” option when booking online, you will not be required to pay for additional participants that are under 5 years old. However, if you are booking for less than 8 spots in a public experience, you will be required to purchase a spot for every person in your group (including young children under the age of 5).
Please contact us directly via phone or email if you are planning to bring a small child or infant with you. We do our very best to accommodate a family’s need regarding small children.
For any groups bringing a small child or infant, we recommend that they utilize the Private option when booking online. This is both to ensure the child’s safety and the integrity of the experience. Things such as small objects that could be choking hazards, situations that may be difficult to maneuver with a child in hand, as well as general actions and moments of excitement from other participants in the room have the potential to be dangerous to small children. Much of what can potentially happen inside one of our experiences is beyond our control. Therefore, if you must bring your small child or infant with you, you will need to designate someone in your group to closely monitor them at all times.
